Parad shivling (Mercury shivling) 60 Grams

In Hinduism, a Shiva Lingam, also known as a Parad Shivling or Rasalingam, is a Lingam made of mercury. The Shiva Lingam is carved from solidified mercury in Tamil Siddhas. The method of solidifying mercury is known as the “Pada-rasam” or “Rasalingam” process in Tamil. In Sanskrit, the process is called “Mercury-Prad” or “Sanskrit-Prad”. Siva Lingams made from solidified mercury are known as “Rasalingams” or “Prad Lingams” in Hindu temples, Ashrams, and other places of worship.

Parad is also known as “Mercury” in English and is considered the purest version of Shivling or the idol of Lord Shiva. It is believed that having an idol of Parad Shivling is equivalent to performing the puja of 12 jyotirlingas, and it is believed that Parad is the seed of the Lord Shiva. Parad Shivling does not need to be done in the form of a ‘Jalabhishek’, as the mercury itself is a liquid, and auto Jalabhashek happens automatically all the time.
